I consider myself a creative thinker who sees elements of design in everything around me. My imagination forever seems to be taking the images I see in life and spinning them into my work. Sometimes I wish it would slow down just a little, but I use my mind’s restless energy to gain new knowledge and share with others what I’ve learned.

My mornings are often spent researching new design trends to keep my work current and my goal with each design is for it to have its own creative flair. I am often asked what design elements or mediums my favorites are, my response is invariably “I love them all.”

From laying out tedious forms to being fully creative and illustrating, they all keep my overactive imagination bopping right along. I’ve been drawing, doodling or sketching my entire life and wouldn’t know how to be anything else.

The relationships you build with your clients is a particularly satisfying part of my career; brainstorming sessions to build upon ideas and bring someone’s vision to life.

With a bachelor’s degree in graphic arts and more than 20 years of experience in graphic design, marketing, and prepress, I’ve delighted in the explosion of digital technology in the design world.

After years of creating hand-painted signs or cutting out Styrofoam or plexiglass letters until my fingers cramped, changes brought about by technology is a gift to my art and my passion.

I’m glad to have been along for the ride.
